How the service works
For most standard external doors, we fit a flexible profiled seal or brush seal around the perimeter of the frame. Where needed, we also fit a brush pile seal to the bottom edge of the door.
For French doors, the work is similar, but we also seal the meeting point where the two doors close together.
Because every door is slightly different, your handyman will first inspect the door, look at the condition of the frame and gaps, and talk through the most suitable draught proofing method with you before starting work.

- Standard front or back door: around 60 to 90 minutes
- French doors: around 1 to 2 hours

This service is charged at our standard by-time rates:
- £60 + VAT for the first half-hour
- £30 + VAT for each half-hour after that
